Vor einiger Zeit veröffentlichten wir auf unserer Seite einen Aufruf zur Unterstützung des United States Holocaust Memorial Museums in Washington, mit dem wir in Fragen historischer Filme partnerschaftlich zusammenarbeiten. Heute erreichte uns dazu folgendes Schreiben:
Thank you for your support of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and our campaign, Never Again: What You Do Matters. Your generosity enables the Museum to ensure the permanent relevance of the Holocaust to a global audience in today’s turbulent times.
I am pleased to share with you the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum’s 2016-17 Annual Report.
In addition to streamlining the content of this year’s report, we have reduced the number of copies we are printing so that we can spend those dollars on our strategic priorities instead. That is why you are receiving your copy electronically.
If you would prefer to receive a printed copy, please contact Maureen Merluzzi at firstname.lastname@example.org or 202.488.6129.
As we look ahead to our 25th anniversary in April 2018, we face a world that the Museum’s founders could not have imagined—with antisemitism, Holocaust denial, and hatred on the rise. Yet, thanks to your continued generosity, we are well positioned to meet these challenges.
The building blocks we have established over the past 25 years—the Collection of Record on the Holocaust, a state-of-the-art center to preserve it in perpetuity, and a global network of individuals who share our commitment to Holocaust education and genocide prevention—will sustain and expand the Museum’s impact for our next quarter-century, and beyond.
Your continued partnership allows the Museum to be a global leader in this critical work.
